BAPTCARE NORLANE INTEGRATED COMMUNITY PROJECT AWARDED GOVERNMENT FUNDING
POSTED July 7, 2015
CHT Architects integrated community project with Baptcare in Norlane has recently been awarded support from the Government, seeing instrumental funding for the Norlane project. In conjunction with the National Stronger Regions Fund Allocation, it was announced that the Norlane project would receive invaluable support from the government – an initiative that will greatly help bring the project to life. The Norlane project includes a 90 bed residential aged care facility, 52 affordable housing units, a community hub and a well-being centre. The aged care facility is split over two levels and the community hub provides a single point for services for those requiring additional levels of care and for people with disabilities. The project will also include a café, a men’s shed, a communal kitchen and three multi-purpose rooms for the benefit of residents. We look forward to working with Baptcare to further the development of this exciting project for the benefit of the Norlane community.
